Is this storage idea feasible? (Details inside).

Every wall space is taken with books and furniture, and I would like to use the center of the living room/kitchen
as an island for book and book shelves.. Is it a good idea?

How about something like this. It’s a rotating cubical bookcase.

@all I have a bookshelf that I could put together in my storage room. Thanks for the good advice.

Ikea hack a platform bed out of low bookshelves.

Well I was actually complimented by a friend for creative decorating design by having a room with a bunch of books on the floor in the center, but it was just from not having moved in completely yet.

You could try it and see how it works for you.

@YARNLADY A friend helped me assemble the bookshelf. I put the dinner table in the center of the living room. All is well.
