Father's Day plans?

Asked by seawulf575 (17137points) June 16th, 2019

Happy Father’s Day to all you fathers out there! So the question is: what do you really want to do on Father’s Day to celebrate? Do you want to celebrate? For you wives and children, what do you want to do to celebrate? Silliness in answers is always welcome!

I just got back from a meal organised & paid by my son & daughter.
Trust me…I deserve it.

My father passed away in 2006 and I have no children, so it’s just another day. Will go for my usual walk and watch the fourth round of the 2019 U.S. Open all afternoon.

@ragingloli You both disgust and amuse me :D

Anyway, today I’m spending the day with my dad :) (Probably go out for Mexican food, go to the computer store, the usual). I do live the closest to my parents of my siblings, but it’s a little disappointing that I’m the only one here. Nonetheless I’m grateful to have the time together. Happy Father’s Day to him and to all the dads here.

I have two adult step children living with us. They are my kids at heart. They took me out for a nice dinner and we went to a place that sells homemade ice cream with booze in it. New place. It was an interesting taste.

My father has been in, and out of the hospital lately. He just got out again this past Tuesday. I called him. He didn’t feel like talking much, but I told him that I loved him, and that I loved him. I would have liked to have done something fun with him, but I suppose I’m just happy that I could hear his voice…

Happy Father’s day, to all our jelly Dads. :)

I have no kids and my dad lives a few hundred miles away. So, nothing.
