I’ve seen pictures of curiosity with a man standing beside it. That sucker had 6 wheels and was the size of a buckboard.

About the size of a regular 4 door sedan? Godzilla’s dandruff?

At first I thought it was about the size of a remote control car. But I saw the picture of it next to person and it is more like the size of my apartment when I was in college.

@ragingloli how big?

Smaller than mankind’s chauvinism : larger than mankind’s altruism.

It’s as big as dna can dream.

The first I remember the sojurner or something was small, like a big RC car. The last two are much larger, like VW beetles in comparison if I recall.

I saw a mock-up of the Curiosity rover at the National Air and Space Museum. It was about the size of 2 chest freezers. More interesting was the hole pattern in the tires. As they drive over dust and sand they spell out the letters JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) in Morse Code. Cool!

(While at JPL I left my footprint on the test soil where rover tire evaluation and testing takes place.)
