@RedDeerGuy1 isn’t Alberta on Mountain Daylight Time during the summer? Not Standard…

Don’t they have the same time zones as us? Up again Dutch? Do you get naps in the daytime?

Yellowdog's avatar

Yes, same time zones—and answers on Fluther are not given, or read, at any consistency of time. Not like everyone responds at once. Sunrise and sunset are effected by latitude but not as much in Canadian locations as say, Scandinavia—some locations now still the sun being over the horizon 24/7

If you’re not just being social, the Weather app(s) and world clock app(s) on your phone or tablet can keep up with times and temperatures, Sunrise and Sunsets and current weather conditions for many locations worldwide. Hating the summer heat and humidity, I am constantly keeping up with various Canadian, N Atlantic and Scandinavian temperatures.

Well, since you took such a long nap yesterday I wonder if it messed up the “sleep deprivation” part?

jca2's avatar

Yeah you weren’t supposed to sleep and then you slept, @RedDeerGuy1.

RedDeerGuy1's avatar

@Dutchess_III Yes. I might have to do it over. Or not at all.

Dutchess_III's avatar

What is it for, anyway?

RedDeerGuy1's avatar

@Dutchess_III To do a brain scan. To see why I have visons and dizziness.

Tell us, if you don’t mind, about your visions.

When I was eleven, I went through a few weeks of seeing what looked like very old movies or etchings with a copper background—like some kind of very early movies or animation, depicting events in the 1800s and 1700s,

Brain scans turned up nothing. But maybe I had no brain,

Anyhow, nothing like that has happened since.

Might add that when these events occured, I was usually just getting out of bed in the morning or daydreaming in class, or similar. I was not asleep. I had a strong sense of “falling back” into the past, seeing the past, and that was terrifying, But once seeing the vision it was quaint, pleasant, and interestingly detailed. It ran rapidly, sort of a quick phantasm of sorts.
