Was it fishes nibbling my feet and toes?
We’re at the lake with 4 kids. At one point I took a break and sat in the shallows, watching them. Soon I got the distinctive feeling some thing was nibbling my feet.
I shook it away but they came back. If I could have SEEN what they were I could have ignored it, but I couldn’t see it so it was mooky.
Also are they pedicure fish? Were they doing something helpful?

What kind of fish Squeekster?
AS a kid I remember back east these little fish would peck at my legs when I was in the water,didn’t hurt in the least,just sorta freaked me out though.
I have no idea what kind of fish they were ,sorry.
I had a small pond in my backyard once. Lots of blue gill in it. It was only about 5’ deep in the middle and we would go into it just to cool off in the summer. The fish would get attracted to the hairs on my body and try to nibble them. I got a few little bites out of the deal.

@Dutchess_lll It might have been, but I could see them hitting on the hairs that were waving in the water.

@seawulf575 what I meant to say was I can’t see under the water in these muddy Kansas lakes. I wanted to ASSUME it was fishes.

@Dutchess_lll I’m not worried because my fish did that to me all the time. So when I hear about fish nibbling feet I’m like “awwwwwwww” :D

@Dutchess_lll snakes don’t continue to “nibble” at you. When they swim by you in the water, they keep going. My ex had a snake swim between her legs when she was standing in the water. She saw it swimming towards her, saw it dive under water, and felt it bump into her legs as it went between them. I heard her scream over the sound of the chainsaw I was running about 500 feet away.
