Does Aquaman's, Professor X's and Mati from Captain Planet powers overlap?

My understanding is that Aquaman’s oft-mocked fish communication is a very vague and poorly explained power in the comics with various treatments over the decades changing exactly how it works.

But at least back when I was collecting comics, Charles Xavier never showed the capacity to connect to a non-sentient mind. I should think if he had such an ability, it would have come up.

BTW, the best variant of Aquaman, is The Deep from the Boys. OMFG that sh—is hilarious. And at the end of the Peacemaker mini-series that James Gunn produced for HBO Max, they made almost direct reference to the idea.
