Are my soft red potatoes ok to eat?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24948points) July 18th, 2019

I have them in the crisper and they don’t have any shoots. Are they safe to microwave one at a time? They are a bit wrinkly and soft.

Am cooking some of them sliced in the frying pan with margarine. Will update how they turned out .

Update: was perfect. Tasted great. A little hard , but will cut into smaller pieces of potatoes next time. Maybe in disk shaped cuts. Maybe cook longer.

That is how I would have prepared them – sliced and fried. I would have used olive oil but the result would be the same. Yum!
Yep, they’re still good.
I hate wasting food.

Update two: I cut the potatoes flat this time will see how it works soon. Still cooking.

Update: They were ok. I need to cut them thinner next time.
