I don’t get to decorate for Halloween this year. :-( And it is my favorite holiday. But I usually would at the beginning of October. My birthday is in October, and I love Halloween, and it looks super weird to have Halloween stuff up a day after the day, so I set up early.
I usually don’t decorate my hose for any specific event, but now that you mention it, a little Halloween dress-up might be fun. Maybe it’ll go as an elephant or a bratwurst?
I am struggling mightily to not question why a hose would get decorated… must not tease the nice person about their typo…
Whew! That was close!
Okay, my Halloween decorations will go up around Columbus Day because I won’t be at work and will have time to deal with it. Unless I have a horrible amount of homeworek, then it will happen some time that week.
and I am woreking hard not to do the same thing, Ted.
One week after decorating my frizzer.
You have such self control. How do you do it?
I’ve never thought about decorating my hose. Perhaps this year I will.
Delirium, I thought your frizzer was frizzless. How can you decorate it?
2late2be is in her first trimester and suffering badly from morning sickness so she is not fair game. (The rest of us are, however.)
Body paint, taco!
(And we aren’t laughing at 2late2be… we’re hopefully just goofing around and making her laugh. Hopefully.)
Should we wait until she feels well enough to laugh?
Perhaps, yes. I offer her e-hugs and sympathy in her illness (do I call it that?) and hope she recovers soon.
Morning sickness is more appropriate. One is not really ill – just feeling like there are better views than the inside of the toilet bowl. Most women who suffer (and I was really lucky to have been spared) start to feel wonderful at the beginning of the second trimester..and then there is the first little kick. The world stops turning for a second.
I’m tempted to call it birth control. ;) It sounds pretty icky. I’m sure its worth it in the end, but I can’t help being thankful that i’m not anywhere near a point where i’ll be experiencing it yet. I can’t even ride in the back seat of a car without getting sick!
Del: I too have and have had a irritating tendency to get air, plane, car and amusement park sick since forever. But the only minor problems I had with my second pregnancy was heartburn (solved by milkshakes and an extra pillow) and a tendency to waddle due to relaxed tendons in groin. The first one was a breeze.
That leaves me hopeful that it, someday, won’t be all that difficult. The heartburn wouldn’t be too much of a problem for me inasmuch as i’m already dealing with it from one of my meds. If only it were solved my milkshakes, then my life would be complete! That is, hopefully, where my hips will someday be worth the bother of trying to buy pants.
No, I was serious Gail! I’m thinking of turning my hose into a smoke blowing snake of some sort!!!
Loser; I’d like to turn my hose back into a hose. At present, it is a snarled thing with knots and kinks.
(I like your new avatar, BTW.)
LOL!!! thanks everyone! you made me laugh, and thanks GAIL for being so nice and thoughful about my morning sickness, yes, i think there are better views than a toilet bowl! like seeing my favorite food and actually can eat it and keep it down…. the time will come, i just have to wait, lol, thanks again!!!
ok ok!!!! i just saw that it was ME the one who wrote HOSE!!!! LOL LOL LOL!!! im so sorry, of course you all know i meant HOUSE! ok, its good you laughed at me… i remember in Yahoo questions i asked:
