Why bother reclining your seat in coach?

Does that extra 10 degrees of recline provide more comfort to you than it provides harassment to the person sitting behind you?

Sorry for the bad grammar…I was preoccupied by my numb legs.
Nevermind. Fixed.
It helps a little but basically, yes coach sucks!!
I feel your pain. I was on a plane for 10 1/2 hours yesterday. The guy in front of me was in full recline for 9 of those hours. I’m sure there are still little craters in the back of that seat where my knees used to be embedded.
I don’t blame him, really. He was a very heavy guy, and must have been far more miserable than I was. The recline probably bought him some extra comfort at his midsection.
I do try to keep my own recline to a minimum.
If someone in front of me reclines, I’ve found I can usually just push it back up or if that doen’t work, I aim my air nozzle on full at their head.
ask for a bulkhead seat next time :)
Change your mindset and plan on renaming it “Steerage”. Having long legs, I found that my knees were sticking into my throat and loosening my teeth. No more air travel for me unless absolutely essential.
I always try to sit in the Emergency Exit row, because of the extra legroom there.

Try seatguru.com when requesting seat assignments. I love how detailed the descriptions are for each seat on commercial flights :)
Thanks for the link! Appreciated!
