I believe in eating seaweed. How would you or do you cook it?

It is my understanding that Seaweed is pretty healthy for you. It’s a common ingredient in many Japanese dishes, often in soups (e.g. Miso soup). That might be a good place to start.
It can be eaten right out of the package with rice. The warmth of the rice will make it a bit more pliable. It can be slightly heated over an open flame to be made pliable and then used as a wrapper for a rice ball or sushi. It can be put in soup.
I could see me putting it in soup when I actually make soup in fifteen years. Or maybe this fall.
Toasted seaweed straight out the package is amazing.
My girlfriend eats it raw.
Sardines and seaweed. Or just seaweed.
In sushi or in miso soup would be my top choice. I do like roasted seaweed as a snack as well.
Perhaps some caution should be taken, depending on how and where you get your seaweed, and what kind it is.
A few years ago, MRSA was found in a sample of seaweed off the coast of Oregon.
Japanese seaweed salad is very tasty.
We have staff kelp with that.
^^^ and how does this “staff” prepare it for you
We take them out to sea on our yacht, push them overboard & let them get on with it.
