Magicarp vs. Goldeen? A Pokemon question.

Magicarp is useless. It evolves into gyarados which is weak
Goldeen evolves into seaking, very effective in it’s element

You might want to read this. I’ don’t do Pokemon so none of it meant anything to me!!! One of my emotionally challenged boys loves Pokemon but I shouldn’t be seeing him today. @RedDeerGuy1 I finally got to talk to my Pokemon know-it-all. He says the Magikarp does evolve & becomes one of the most powerful in the game. He tried to explain to me what you would need to do; but, of course, I didn’t understand what he was telling me. Still, with my newfound info, I discovered these instructions on WikiHow. Hope they help you to get where you want to be!!!

Oh yes, he said to forget Goldeen. He evolves into Seaking at level 33 but nothing spectacular after that.
