What is the most eccumberance that you can carry your groceries to home from the store?
I usually have 2 gallons, or 8 liters, of milk in a backpack, and a duffel bag full of food and maybe a couple of light items in my hand. Some times I take a taxi for $6, and only need to climb a steep stair case to my apartment..

I fill my trunk every two weeks. So 20 bags. About 120 bucks per trip.
@KNOWITALL Thanks. My groceries are around $60 -$80, per week, that is my limit to carry. It is a treasure hunt in the meat department. I try to save some money just in case the meat calls out to me. I rotate stores weekly.
I live .35 miles from the store; I can carry two double bagged grocery bags that are full, about twenty pounds each. But I rarely buy that much at once.
Zero!!! I don’t buy groceries as I find it to be too much trouble since I live by myself. For the cost of the food that I would buy for myself, I can eat out every day & have them do ALL the cleanup after me. That alone makes it worth eating out. I’m of the opinion that food cooked by someone else taste twice as good as food that I have to cook for myself!!!
I live a five minute walk from a big 24 hour supermarket so I don’t have to buy in bulk. I take a rucksack with me and a couple of recyclable plastic bags. I buy 4 pints of milk at a time which lasts a week.
We fill the trunk of a Toyota Camry.
I could carry more, but my policy is to never buy more at a time, than a full rucksack.
