I’ve never seen the original; so, I have NO desire to see the sequel. Still, given the opportunity & convenience, I wouldn’t avoid it either!!!
What, never seen the original? It’s a good time, you should if you like horror!
I do not care for most horror, and I despise Clowns so intensely, that I can not tell if my vision is blurry from my recent near-death experience, or from my all-consuming rage.
So, no. I am not.
@ragingloli Recent near-death experience? Whoa, sorry to hear that, glad you’re okay.
Was it with a clown, is that the reason for the all-consuming rage?
I had to take down my masks off my wall, they were staring me down…lol
I don’t like horror either.
IF I watch any horror flick, I tend to enjoy them; however, I seldom choose horror as my movie of choice. I haven’t chosen to ignore the original…it’s just never happened. Since joining Fluther, I’ve been enticed to watch many movies that I’ve never seen, maybe this will be one of them!!!
@LadyM If you do, please let me hear your review!
I am, maybe excited isn’t quite the word but certainly looking forward to it.
One thing about the original though, the stuttering Walton’s guy should have been brutally butchered, hate that bloody actor.
I’m curious about it. The original was good, but not nearly as good as the book. The new version seems to be drifting farther from the book and they are focusing more on effects than story. But maybe Part 2 will change my mind.
@KNOWITALL I’ve gone on to Amazon to decide whether or not to take the plunge. Will you be so kind as to explain the difference (or which is better)...IT or Steven King’s IT??? I hate to assume but it appeared to me that IT & IT: Chapter 2 are the 2 that go together; however, I’m thinking that Tim Curry might be more entertaining as a killer clown. Not sure that I’m ready to watch 3 of these movies; so, I need a well educated opinion!!!
@LadyMarissa For me, the original is best. The remakes are decent, better effects though.
@ragingloli as pervy as you are, you calling something “sick” makes me feel the need to watch to find out WHY!!! ;]
I said terrible and awful, not sick.
Sick would be, if they included the underage gangbang scene from the book.
Oh OK. I guess your terrible & awful translated into sick in my brain…sorry!!!
