Is their a computer programmed textbook that you can set your reading level, or educational level, for eBooks?

A app or program that you can toggle your grade level from easy to Ph.d. and beyond? For any subject from language arts to math? Without having to buy a new set of books every year?
It sounds like a book that I would like to read for fun. From easy to hard.

At the risk of being too tangential for General, you might wish to check the YouTube videos by Wired in which they ask experts in various fields to explain the same concept at five increasingly difficult levels. This is one where an expert explains quantum computing, for example.

I like the idea of having different levels of explanation, but the example given for quantum computers was not very explanatory. It still leaves me with basic questions. Do quantum computers have instruction sets? If so, are the basic instructions different in a quantum computer? Is it just that quantum computers can have more memory and execute faster?
