Do you think the new president should help illegal immigrant to be legal residents?

no, ever since this country was founded people have immigrated into America. People that are considered illegal should have to go threw the system just like millions did before them.

Oh, this is a tough one. I don’t think they should just be jailed or deported. My instinct is to offer those that are already in the country an easy path to legal status, BUT you must actually become legal in order to stay. In my opinion most illegal aliens are actually helping the economy, more than they are hurting it. Most have jobs, and receive paychecks that have taxes and social security withheld, but will never receive a tax refund, or use social security benefits. I think there should be strong incentives to coming here legally in the future.

The real problem I have with it is I know several people who have been trying to emmigrate from India to the US for the past 10 years. They just got approved this year. It’s not right. And anyone wanting to throw out that “all of us” are the illegals… I have two words for you. Norwegian Vikings. Nuff said.

I prefer open borders. Want to come and live and work here? Go for it. I would like to try Canada or France. It would be nice if I could buy a and ticket fill out a form and be done with it. Let the free-market decide who lives where.

For purposes of this argument, indeed I am. Both are lawbreakers and should recieve no help or assistance until such time as they decide to begin their new life by following the law.
