Does Instagram use some kind of program to identify nudity?

Asked by raum (13454points) September 13th, 2019 from iPhone

I created an Instagram account for my mom to post pictures of her food.

I posted a picture of a plate of squid. The next time I tried to log in, I received a message that the account was disabled.

My guess is that some algorithm mistook the plate of squid for some kind of crazy ass Loli orgy.

That’s just my guess.

Since Instagram is owned by Zuckerberg I would think yes, it has such software.
He’s not into nekkidness.

That is hilarious about the fish photos getting censored!

Probably more animal protection PETA influence. There was a nude picture posted on GOOP’s Instagram page today that may have been Gwyneth Paltrow.

It’s feeling a little fishy here.

I just have a gift for making a bass of myself.
