How many layers of panko/breading should you coat your self made chicken nuggets in?

I was unsure, so I went with 2.
What is the recommended number?

Depends how you like you chicken. I’d do one, but I dont like the breading.

@RedDeer You dont coat fried chicken? Thats outrageous to a southerner lol.
I cook fried chicken so good you’d slap your mama for more haha! Jk

@KNOWITALL I just cook in the oven for 350c. Last time I coated any of my chicken was 1980 and I used a bag of shake n bake powder. All of my fried chicken comes from KFC now.

Fuck Everything, We’re Doing Five Coats

I’m not sure you could ever do to many coats of Panko.

Are you talking egg wash, panko, panko? Or are you talking egg wash, panko, egg wash, panko?

The latter method seems like a mess after one. And not sure how many you could get with the former method.

Two sounds good.
