Any movie, really, because you will be too hammered to be conscious of what you are watching.
It’s only 45 Abv. I think.
^^Oh my. I do agree. Time for some chest beating with MaConaughey. ( I’m pretty sure I mispelled his name )
Last week I watched Polar on Netfix and killed most of a bottle of wine. It was not intellectual by any stretch but entertaining, especially with a buzz.
Last Year at Marienbad only because you mention drinking. The movie gets weirder and weirder as it goes on and I guess you can only understand it when you’re really high :P
Wish I could say I saw Yesterday, yesterday. It was a few weeks ago actually.
Three shots in and still waiting for more suggestions. In the meantime I’m watching West Wing. This work of fiction is much better than the real thing.
@Mimishu1995 checking on your suggestion right now. : )
Hang Em High
Blazing Saddles
The Long Kiss Goodnight
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Or turn to the shopping channel and shout insults at the television
O Brother Where Art Thou?
@Patty_Melt Cool flicks, thanks. The Long Kiss Goodnight. Nice. Geena Davis’ coolest movie role imo. Next to that was when she played a pirate. Being married to Renny Harlin was an exciting time for her I’m guessing.
Little Big Man. Adam Sandler? Always entertaining. Thanks.
O Brother Where Art Though. Coen Bros. What a team.
This bottle is almost half done and I still haven’t made a selection. Will do soon. Friday nights will always be young—-until it’s not. ( I’m really taking my sweet time making sure I don’t post like a drunk. Not one misspelled word jellies! )
In the meantime watching half of National Treasure and half of Mean Streets. Neat.
Fight Club.
I have two reasons, neither of which I can talk about.
Thanks so much for all the terrific suggestions jellies! Great films. A lot of them mind-blowingly good…even when seen sober. Lol
Eventually I decided to go for @Mimishu1995‘s suggestion since unlike all the others I haven’t seen it, not once…..sadly though it’s not available for rent on Prime and it’s not on Netflix.
Ended up watching something else but right now my mind’s drawing blank as to what it was. Lol
@mazingerz88 Sad that it isn’t on streaming service. But if you check out the Criterion Collection or Mubi they may have it available for you :P
^^Yes I heard about Mubi. Thanks. Used to enjoy the Criterion Collection when HULU has it. I think Criterion started their own site with monthly fee?
I heard that Criterion partnered with some other site for a streaming service. Before Criterion only had DVDs in their store. I don’t like how the Criterion site looks now, but at least they are offering more than just DVDs :)
Edit: just checked again. They have their own streaming service now.
^^Awright. Nice. I can check Marienband out. I also wanted to collect more Criterion blu-rays. No funds for that yet but I have 2 so far. :)

@Mimishu1995 So I got interested enough to get a Criterion blu-ray of this film after you brought it to my attention but all sold out since 2009. Settled on owning it on Amazon. Will watch it for the first time toooooonight! ( while having a bit of a drink of course lol ) Thanks again!
