I am well aware of the Askville influx, I’m merely trying to encourage integration….perhaps I shouldn’t
I’m here every day now. I still can’t tear myself away from the home beat, though. It’s like that soap opera, where you hate all the players, but you have to tune in every day to keep up with the goings-on.

@wildflower, yes, encouraging integration is good. It just takes a bit to get used to getting away from “askvilleness.”

Hi, everybody! Sorry it took so long to reply, but I’ve been out most of the day, and—in fact—am leaving again in a few minutes to go pick-up one of my cats at the veterinary hospital.

Here’s some of my guards for your protection.
My cat had a relapse, and I therefore wasn’t able to go pick her up, so I’m back. However, I haven’t a clue as to what some of you are now talking about on here, so I’m going to go check-out that “hot tub party”. If it no longer exists, I’m signing-off.
By the way, how does one get into a “chat” with people you know on here? Do you always have to ask a “question”, or go to the discussion of someone-you-know’s question in order to be in one?

I suspect his cat owns him because that’s the way with cats.
His cat is/was in the ‘hospital’, I believe he is supposed to be able to get it out today (Friday).

I haven’t left Fluther yet, but in many of the discussion boards I’ve been in so far, going “off topic”—and ignoring many of the other answerers in the process—seems to be annoyingly common.
As for my cat, I got her back from the hospital today. Thanks to those of you who showed care and concern over that.
@marshallo – actually going off topic for too long is against fluther guidelines/rules. if you see any such threads, please flag them for the moderators to view. generally though, poll-type Qs and Qs that have already been answered (as in problem is solved) or has been answered by a good amount of people, are allowed to go off topic.
