I have never been groped.
My body is just too repulsive. Even Xenomorphs make wide arcs around me.

Yes, but not in a long time. Happened at some sorority parties.

Yes, by a creepy old man with whom I worked. I slapped his face really hard & yelled NO!!! He apologized & said it was what he thought I wanted. When I asked him what I had done to make him think such a thing, he didn’t hae an answer & apologized again. He NEVER did it again after that time!!!

Yes, at a store in Georgetown, DC.

A teenager came up behind me, put his hand in my crotch, and ran his hand up my buttocks and back. When I turned around in shock, he was making direct, defiant eye contact, daring me to do anything.

I immediately saw that this kid was with a gang of friends, out looking for trouble. I was with my husband, who would have acted to defend me. If I had said or done something, it would have ended badly for my husband – about a five-on-one fight. I suffered silently, to protect him.

Yes. I see it as an assault.

Not to make light of a genuinely concerning act, but this lady once pinched my nipple while I stopped by the roadside on one of my runs.

It was quite chilly out & I wore an athletic vest so it stung a little, by time I completed my run & arrived home you could hang your coat off the offended teat.

Once in high school when I was walking around with headphones on. Kid came up behind me and groped me. Probably even younger than I was at the time.

I chased him pretty hard. Was so pumped up on adrenaline that I managed to scale a fence one handed. Wouldn’t be able to do that again in a million years.

Stopped to pick up a bat I spotted and lost a few precious seconds and he got away. Have to say I’m a bit relieved that I didn’t catch him with a bat because I was raging on my adrenaline and probably would have done something I would have regretted.

I never walked around with headphones after that.

I’ve had some unwanted contact, from both males and females, at parties and bars. None of it was particularly aggressive but I do remember some instances where people didn’t get the message right away.

Yes. Too many times.

Several times, usually by my idiot guy friends.
