Has anyone here used collagen for joint relief?
I have done a bunch of research lately, read some (limited, to be sure) studies that call it “promising”, and talked to a couple of orthopods who are guardedly optimistic. I would love some first hand anecdotes.
Southern New England winters are Dickensian with cold, damp, snow, storms coming in off the North Atlantic, yuck. Hoping to find something to alleviate some of the joint misery.
Any personal experience with collagen would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jellies.

Knox gelatin, colloidal minerals in orange juice with calcium used to help a friend with joint pain.
My husband got relief in his shoulders by following an anti-inflammatory diet.
It worth a try as it’s better than a drug,IMO.
Thanks, @lucillelucillelucille, that’ll go on my list!
This is why I avoid the drugs, I tend to be the person for whom the side effects were made. Ugh. I eat really carefully, too. I Am Become Curmudgeon. :-P
@canidmajor -Pain will not help anyone’s mood. Good luck!
Guys, I appreciate the concern, but this question is specifically about collagen.
I’ve never used collagen, so NO clue how well it works; however, CBD oil has been helping me a lot lately. This will be my first winter since I’ve started using it, so I won’t know for sure until I make it to spring. I started taking it as a sleep aid, but have been pleased to notice that some aches & pains are seemingly going away!!!
Collagen, people. Collagen.
Yes, I have used Collagen. It is nutritional supplement made from animal or fish materials.
It plays an important role in the building of joint cartilage.
