What advice do you have for Support Specialists?
I am looking for any advice on what someone can do to get into the support specialist field, more specifically with computers.

Be patient. And don’t take it personally.
If people are calling you, things are not going well, and they may be very frustrated.
Easy to answer:
1) you have to know your customers’ use cases backwards and forwards. In other words, you need to know how they use your software and what the expect of it.
2) you need to know your product(s) completely. Every single little option and menu choice.
No matter what they say, you are not a !@#$%&*(&! :)
