@May I call you “bod”? I opened the links by mistake while Milo was sitting on my lap and staring at the keyboard. Luckily his reading skills lag behind his hunting and gathering ones – so I deleted before he got through the opening sentences. I hope he did not see the pictures.
looks like some kind of mutation or mat of fur. That’s pretty interesting though.
When I was walking on the desert, many years ago I thought I saw a horse with wings, believe it or not.
My GF said it was probably a gas station.

I winged a cat once when I was hunting squirrels with my grandpa. I was, and always be, a poor shot.
@Sueanne,
Ouch! I bet that cat was glad you were such a poor shot!
I have a flying kitten, but she does it without wings. She can take 13 of 15 steps on a semi-spiral staircase at once. She has also jumped from the top landing, flown across entire rooms, done backflips and returned the same way to the other side. I am NOT exaggerating. If any of you remember Hobbes of Calvin and Hobbes, you get the picture. My Gramma used to refer to this behavior as “pixelated”. She does this a minimum of once per day, (it comes out of nowhere) usually more often.
@seesul… well, now you’re gonna hafta post a vid to youtube.com and link it here.

I’ll have to work on it. I only have access to the video on my Elph, and this cat is sooo fast, it might come out as a total blur. I hope that I can, because it’s really fun to watch, especially the backflip part. I have had other cats of this breed and had strange behavior as well, but this one takes the cake. As I was typing this, she sprang across the room, took a flying leap onto my shoulder and then pounced on the high cabinet on behind me. She’ll spend the next hour or so up there napping.
Needless to say, I keep her claws trimmed once a week.
@Seesul; “Needless to say, I keep her claws trimmed once a week.” How? I know we’ve had this discussion but I am a slow learner.
@See: What breed is she? I want one. After I buy my Munchkin.
