Was Trump not invited to yet another high profile and politically important funeral?
That of Elijah Cummings. Obama and the Clintons are there.
How do you think Trump feels about being snubbed again?

The preacher said that Elijah wrote his own funeral stuff:
OK, Elizabeth Warren spoke first.
Hillary Clinton just got done speaking.
NANCY PELOSI IS SPEAKING NOW!!
No, they announced today he’ll get the award. ”The award ceremony will reportedly take place during the 2019 Second Step Presidential Justice Forum…” that’s October 25, 26 and 27, 2019.
He was shunned once again.
Man, Hillary has a strong presence. She would have been a good president.
I wouldn’t want Trump at my funeral either. PS: Watching it on C-Span, thanks.
Just like McCain’s funeral, it sounds like Elija went out of his way to oh so subtly shame Trump. Warren said, “Elijah said we should not have to fear our leaders….”
In the Twilight Zone, I can see trump behaving magnanimously attending funerals in sincere humility. This is real life.
Oh wait. October 25 was today.
Even if he was due to receive an award on the same day (I know he’s not but if he was), he could attend the funeral and not attend the award. It would look even better for a politician to miss a ceremony in order to attend the funeral of a high ranking politician. Award ceremonies come around all the time, but a person’s funeral doesn’t.
Agreed. But I have no doubt he was deliberately excluded. All of his arch enemies were included.
@Dutchess_III: I was referring to @Josie’s comment that he couldn’t go anyway due to that he was getting an award. The funeral would have trumped (if you pardon the pun) the award ceremony.
