Levon from an Elton John song.
Rats, shoulda included songs too, ah well…done now.
Levon is a good one.
They come up with good ones in John Grisham movies, too. Lucian is one from a Time to Kill. I’ll think of others and come back.
Mae Mobley from The Help.
There is one rattling around in my head but I can’t think of it right now!
Chumlee from Pawn Stars. This name is funny to me. I keep trying to get my friends to name their kids or pets this and they won’t.
Chumlee. It makes me chuckle.
Hoke, from Driving Miss Daisy. Boolie from Driving Miss Daisy.
Most of Dickens’ characters have great names: Mr Micawber, Uriah Heep, The Aged P, Ebeneezer Scrooge, Becky Trotwood
Chick for a guy. I first heard that name when I was 14. I thought it was a sexy name for a guy.
Old Shatterhand from the Winnetou movies.
Vi Rose from A Joyful Noise. That’s the name I was trying to remember. It sounds so neat coming out of Dolly Parton’s mouth. Plus I loves me some Queen Latifa, no matter what her character’s name is.
I watched all 5 seasons of Bosch. Bosch is an L A detective, and his partner is Jerome Edgar, so everyone calls him J Edgar. Another pair of detectives features a guy named crate. His partner is quite round, so everyone refers to the pair as crate & barrel.
