If a person you are loosely acquainted with forgets your name, your reaction might be?

Loosely acquainted? Who cares? Shrug it off. Not even worth the eye roll.

Any next time you see the person call them by the wrong name.

My reaction should be gratitude and relief in the obvious conclusion that “loosely acquainted” justifies either of us regarding the other as insignificant. It’s fine with me.

I don’t care, people are weird with names, I forget sometimes as well. A negative reaction seems silly and needlessly rude.

Relief! I couldn’t remember a person’s name if my life depended on it! The last post here by @gorillapaws says it all.

It’s not something that would bother me; I understand it, especially if they are only loosely acquainted.

I would totally understand and kindly remind them. I would NOT turn into an asshole.
