How often should this newly potted orchid be watered and how much?

I just repotted two orchids using newly bought orchid soil in an effort to save them. They look almost dead with their leaves totally limp and their roots very soggy. Their former owner overwatered them it looks like. There’s also slight yellowing of the leaves. What do I have to do to save these orchids? Thanks.

I used to water mine once per week by putting a few ice cubes in the pot. They like a crowded pot, btw.
Indirect light is good.
I would then fertilize them once per month with a commercial fertilizer.
Then, I killed them off, one by one by caring about them too much, apparently.
Those f@ckers appreciate nothing.Good luck! :D
Orchids are really susceptible to disease so treat what you have as if it was an open wound as in think sterile. Trim off any really wilted root matter with a clean sterile knife or razor. Then re-pot in fresh sterile potting soil and go easy on watering for about 2–3 weeks. Also spray water on the leaves to help them from drying out while the plants take root. I myself would also sprinkle an anitfungal on the roots before you plant. If you do this do it outside as that powder is nasty and lingers for days.
