@rebbel Tell your brother to close the door.
Driveway, maybe 100 feet, white gravel. Needs redone in spring.
Yard, no fence, two different hedges, with a Japanese Maple to seperate. Two other trees in front.
I have a carport rather than garage, which I love. It connects to front porch with wrought iron rails, all white painted ceilings and walls w black accents. Solid cherry front door.
My front porch is covered, about 30 feet concrete pad. Nice little mosaic bistro table w two wrought iron matching chairs. American flag or Mo flag flying. :)
Drive is on the right side with a curved sidewalk from the driveway to the porch. The porch has white railing and posts with outdoor curtains and outdoor furniture. White storm door with a red solid wood door with side light panels on both sides. House is brick with a shingle roof.
@KNOWITALL Sounds delightful, even with the flag ;-}
Mailbox.
120 foot gravel driveway.
100 trees, many over 60 ft. tall.
A short masons wall.
A large propane tank.
@ucme Thanks, just a single story ranch on a big lot.
Half brick w gold colored shingle roof (new.)
You going to tell us about your apartment? Lol
(inside joke)
I’ll describe my parents’ house (the house I grew up in and still visit regularly) because right now I live in a townhome that has no front worth speaking of. The door is on the sidewalk basically.
My parents’ house is hidden from the road because it’s surrounded by redwoods and oaks. There’s an unpainted wood fence that surrounds the property. There are several redwoods in front and a white pergola between them where the walk-way to the house is. The path is stone that cuts through a shade garden (the lawn in front was always small but was recently removed). The front yard is actually not that big; it’s fairly close to the road and the walk up to the house is short. It’s in back where all the space is. The driveway is to the left of the redwoods and this is the only section where the wood fence gives way to a solid wall and white wooden gates. In front of the wall is where my mom plants annuals like snapdragons—it usually looks really nice. Driveway leads to the garage on the left side of the house as well as a few outbuildings.
It’s a nice place and I miss it. :)
