My very first non cartoon movie my folks took me to was 2001: A Space Odyssey. I was 8 years old and begged my parents to buy me the soundtrack. That was my very first record I ever owned. Still have it and still love to listen to it.
Thanks jellies, will listen to all you’ve posted. Glad I have some new soundtracks to discover. Listening to several amongst many of my favorites earlier today.

@mazingerz88 My mom first recommended that movie to me and I loved it
@Lonelyheart807 That Out of Africa music. I can remember. The one playing when those two characters were flying in that plane right? I think it was the James Bond composer who did that music.
The Medicine Man is one of my favorites.
^^Oh yeah. I revisit that Sean Connery film every two or three years.
It’s not on my iPod, but the music from Lawrence Of Arabia is beautiful.
I love the opening theme on The Untouchables too.
^^Could be Morricone? The man’s skills’ phenomenal.
@mazingerz88…that was part of it, but the whole soundtrack is beautiful!
