I play for fun.
I don’t know what my poker face looks like.
I am relatively competent but I can’t muster enough interest in card games to put much effort into playing them competitively. I prefer representational / simulationist board games and computer games and role-playing games.

@Zaku Mille Borne? That’s a new one on me.
I’m not really good at cards but one game that is pretty easy is Spades. You play with four people (total), two sets of partners.
@lucillelucillelucille That guy is bothering me because I know he’s a stand up but can’t recall his name.
Tell me you know :-)
In college, I was GREAT at Hearts. Never picked up Bridge, however.
Terrible at poker.

@lucillelucillelucille Arrgghh! Of course it is, useless with names good with faces.
I remember he had a very laid back style, as if he told jokes on his deathbed :D
@ucme -Well then,here’s a quote:
“My dental hygienist is cute. Every time I visit, I eat a whole package of Oreo cookies while waiting in the lobby. Sometimes she has to cancel the rest of the afternoon’s appointments.”
@ucme -He does make me laugh. I watched a movie that he did one time & it was not good. :(
Lots of poker. Both for money and for pinto beans. I taught my children how to play at an early age. It was interesting how my son preferred straights and my daughter preferred flushes. Either way, as soon as they got the hang of it they both started beating my butt!
So then I quit and played solitaire. My son set a broom on the other side of the table, telling me it was an angel playing against me. So then a freaking BROOM kicked my butt!
In college we played a ton of Spades.
I used to slay at Mau Mau.

@ucme Mille Bornes is a French card game about driving. The name (which I misspelled by accident – i learned about it in lower school French class, where I learned almost no French) means milestones, I think.
