What's your favorite commercial, and why?
I mentioned the Farmers insurance commercials in a thread recently. It brought to mind a few amusing commercials.
Once upon a time commercials ruled. Remember crying everytime a Hallmark commercial came on? If you are younger than forty the answer is no.
Time was, everyone took turns saying, “Where’s the beef?”
Mikey likes it, and nobody doesn’t like Sara Lee.
What sticks in your mind as all time greats?
Is there anything as good lately?

The Coca-cola commercial I’d like to teach the world to sing. Sometimes they replay it.
We need that commercial right now for the country and the world.
This oldie, from a Dutch insurance company.

I love flo and her sister, the phone commercials. Her sister is so funny on the exercise bike (cycling is my passion). And when shes on a date and he says what do you do for fun, she deadpans and says ‘not this’. Cracks me up!
This hardcore punk CD commercial is….something.
The Budweiser ads with the puppy who runs away to be with his friend the cart horse. I’m a sucker for inter-animal friendship and it’s really done well.
You guys are nuts.
So much for harmony and a Coke.~
@janbb, I like that one too.
This is my favorite Bud commercial.
I have mixed feelings about the school supplies. I know what they are trying to do, but…
On the subject of school supplies, this video is hilarious:
I can’t link it because I’m on my phone, but if someone could, I’d appreciate it. It’s the Clydesdale horses honoring 9/11. It was shown one time only.
@jleslie Fun fact on your coke commercial: on the very last episode of Mad Men, they left the viewers thinking that Jon Hamms character wrote that commercial.
The Budweiser commercials with the Clydesdale team and the ones with Leon Redbone
I love him
Lol, “I leave em I my locker” sweet!
OMG that is funny!
Just like teen boys, too.
@Tropical_Willie I just learned that Nike is a Greek word (pronounced Neekee) meaning victory…..just a little trivia.
