Could green light be considered plant poop?

Asked by LostInParadise (32163points) November 22nd, 2019

The color green is everywhere in nature because plants have no use for it. They take in the other colors and send back green light. Shorter wave lengths are preferred because they have higher energy and longer wave lengths are preferred because they are more abundant.

Green has traditionally been my favorite color. But yeah, it is often associated with monsters, aliens, witches, Halloween entities, and queazy illness’ pallor.

Its kind of a waste / ill health color, although nourishing in some applications.
