Has anyone else ever wanted to celebrate after reaching a certain amount of lurve?

I want to have at least 1,000 lurve someday! :) Yes I do get excited.

I was looking forward to calling you a real corker! Somehow the first 1000 has a mystique but then not so much with the next; I suppose JP and gail can let is know when they hit 10k if it feels any different.

I guess I’m just really excited because it makes me feel kind of established. I mean, I’m probably not but there aren’t too many websites I frequent and I’m just psyched that I found fluther and that I like it so much. I’m glad I stuck with it and answered questions and asked some too.

@nayeight: Go for a celebration! Get a cupcake with a candle and sing yourself the ‘1000 lurve’ song. When I reached 1000, I was very happy. I imagined myself doing a little jig, since I’m too lazy to get up and actually do it.

I was happy when I hit four digits. I did a little dance in my head. Congratulations!

@Trud: Milo, modest fellow that he is, insists I set the record straight. And since he has sharper claws and fewer scruples, I obey. I was drafted, as family, in early Dec.,2006. Milo was dragged deposited here on April 20, 2008. (we have celebrated our 4th month anniversary recently, altho he hogged most of the bed last night.)

Since then, to give credit where credit is due, many of my good answers do come from him. And I get a thrill out of picking ripe tomatoes on my deck.

First 1000 was cool. Like w00t hit a thousand. After that i kinda stopped paying attention.

@über , I agree. 1000 was a milestone. It doesn’t matter quite as much after that. So I actually do understand Gails initial response….
