Damn! I guess that’s what happens when you’re wise, good with words, and have answered almost 3000 questions.

NO to the “High Score Table”. That makes it competitive. The worst thing you could do for this site is make the points competitive. It’s ONE of the things killing Askville IMHO.

@Mac; don’t forget old and experienced and interested in language. If I had other skills (which I don’t) like artistic ones, mechanical ones, culinary, medical, legal, etc. I would be somewhere else- drawing, singing, starting a band, servicing my car, brushhogging my fields, freezing the spots on my hands and cutting Milo’s claws myself.

The points don’t matter to me.

I have to agree completely with Mr. M! It might sound good in theory, but it can have a very nasty side effect in reality.
