Is there anyone who didn't vote in 2016, who will sure as hell be voting in 2020?
If so, why?
I have voted in every election since Carter.

My brother had never voted, nor had his wife. They are trump supporters so I’m glad they aren’t voting.
I don’t know of anybody that hasn’t in the past but will now vote.
Me either. I’m trying to find some who have changed since the trump fiasco. It seems like the only people who are passionate about this are people that actually vote.
I think I’ll as Facebook.
My youngest son who is 20 yrs old will be voting in his first major election. I wonder just how many coming of age new voters will be heading to the polls in 2020?
I wonder too. I hope and hope they turn out.
Not me. Voting, is a scam..
A whole ton of teenagers who were 14 year olds in 2016.
There you go again @MrGrimm888 Wet blanket! So are you afraid they take your soul while you are in the booth ? ? ?
Wish I knew which way those teenagers might fall. From teaching in the upper grades, they’re pretty liberal, but there are a few die hard trump supporters who blindly support him because their parents do.
I think we all pretty much do what our parents do.
Did your parents think voting was a scam @MrGrimm888?
Both my parents vote. They’re aware of my non-voting, and raise the same opinions on the subject as all of you.
I’m sticking with my guns. I see bullshit, when I see it. I may be a fuck up, and a loser. But I can smell bullshit, from miles away.
Relevant.
I have never tried to convince ANYONE to not vote. I’m not attempting to get anyone else to view the world as I do…
It would be nice to have the pond, give me the same respect.
When you preech voting, to me, you are no different than a religious person knocking on my door, trying to get me involved with some bullshit religion.
I’ll meet you with my Mossberg 500, and pump it, just the same.
Stay off of my porch, and stay out of my life…
Democracy, is an illusion of power. I don’t push that opinion on others. I would respect ALL of you, not to push it on me…..
I’m the problem? Ha… Why do you think Trump is in office, despite losing by over 2 million votes? THINK.
Grimm, I don’t know you but I do respect you to have your say in things but I have to step in and defend Dutchess. You shouldn’t talk to a lady that way. Threatening to shoot her or someone simply because they’re trying to talk to you? No, bro. It ain’t happening like that.
Calm down son. If you want to pump a shotgun at someone, I’m right here. You’ll need more than grandpappy’s blow gun for me though. ;)
I would NEVER threaten Dutch. I’ve opined multiple times, she reminds me of my mother. A respect I cannot give above.
I’ve been told my Jill Stein vote in Illinois didn’t count, so yeah. I’m sure as hell making my vote count in a swing state.
Thanks @Coolhandluke. He’ll regret saying it tomorrow.
My question is, how do you know what the bullshit is if you don’t know who the candidates are? Is that just a pat excuse you give to excuse not doing your part.
@Dutch if you look at all the recent protesters for climate action and gun control, I’d say the younger voters lean left.
I lean left. But they’re going to have to provide a reasonable candidate.
It’s just the beginning. We’re getting there.
BTW, Hillary was a very reasonable candidate. It’s all the bullshit rumors that brainwashed dummies allowed themselves to believe is what did her in, more than anything else.
^I’m certainly no brainwashed dummy. The media and DNC played dirty to make her the candidate. I voted against that by voting for Stein.
But she really won… it was the EC, that got Trump in office.
^Exactly
If people feel the need to blame someone or something, blame our system that allowed Trump to happen. Don’t righteously point fingers at third party and non voters.
It was a combination of all of those things. The people who didn’t vote and the people who threw their votes away that allowed the EC to move in. Someone here said they were “just doing their jobs,” based on whatever. Numbers in certain areas I guess. If those numbers had been different, the outcome would have been different.
Would’ve, could’ve, should’ve. It still comes down to our system. That’s it.
Of which we all are a part of.
Well. Pelosi made it official. Trump will be impeached. We’ll see how this goes…
