Which tool would come in most handy in the following situation?

Jungle equates to some kind of cutting device like a Steak Knife for me.

The knife. I can kill with it, cut rope I’ll make from either bark or vine, and I can cut my food and use it as a fork.

@Coolhandluke If you had the option of knife vs machete, which would you pick?
What if you got ONE weapon only, your choice.

Oh good question! I would prefer to have both but I would need the machete over the steak knife. If it’s the right kind of machete, I can use it for chopping, cutting and digging.

The hammer. I can make a knife out of a rock with it, then form a sharp stick with the knife.

It could be used as a tool, a weapon, and even a signaling device (hitting a hollow log creates a very loud sound).
