Did you have swimming as part of your P.E. program?

If you did, where did you go? Was it indoors our out?

I have a vague recollection of dressing out (putting on our suits) in the locker room and walking to the public pool, so it must have been at the beginning of the year when it was still warm. I honestly don’t remember if we learned anything special. We all knew how to swim already, because we all spent every waking moment at the pool in the summer.
But I think that was Jr. High. I didn’t have swimming in High School.
So did you have swimming in PE?
