Why should I stay with using PC?
I am a PC user both at home and at work. But I think PC sucks because of all the problems. I am so tempted to go for MAC once and for all. But if you can give me a good reason to stay, please convince me…

what kind of problems do you have with a pc? I personally went to mac for the multi-media capabilites. Also no virus (atleast as of now) or spyware. If you have the money i would recommend it. But what are your reasons?
Far better software selection with PCs. That’s the reason for me.
Any reason you can think of for staying with a PC will seem trivial to you once you get a Mac. I mean, the only reason I’d stick with PC would be because of the ridicule that hardcore Windows users will give you. And as a Computer Science student, I get that jeering from the wicked-hardcore-diehard-PC IZ KINGZ-MACZ SUCKZ-MACZ R A CULT-blah blah blah Windows users. (So far, I can count only 1, and he’s just kidding).
@AstroChuck: OK, I admit that that’s a good reason… But if you are comfortable with less selection, then you’re golden. =)
PC = If you are a Hardcore Gamer
MAC = If you are not
I just wanna throw the whole BootCamp issue into the fray. You know, just to even out the selection and gamer issues. =)

If you’re free to choose and able to get either (mac or PC), I can’t see a single reason why you’d choose PC (admittedly I’m not a gamer so that potential argument is lost on me), but many for choosing a mac.
The only compelling argument I could see for PC in this case is that it would not involve a new purchase…
I asked myself the same questions some years ago, and i still don’t have any good answers for that. So i’m on a mac now.
well, even as a gamer i’ve found my way with the mac, i mean, i first accepted it, then i installed bootcamp and crossover games, and now my gaming troubles are gone…so go out and buy that mac, no one likes a pc guy…
XP stands for eXtra Problems. (overheard here a while back…)
The 2 biggest arguments are price and games. If you want a good gaming computer that runs smoothly it will usually end up being more than a Mac when instead you could get a Mac, run windows and do anything a Pc user can do. Definitely Mac. Its gorgeous, user friendly, it really does just works and you know its really worth it. It really depends on what you need if all you do is just browse the internet then you should stay with a a Pc. If you do more get a Mac. You can still run Office and its easyer than ever to switch. You can even use your iPod as a harddrive to move your files!
Oh i forgot. If your getting a Mac the people at the Apple store will even move all your files to your new Mac from your Pc for free!
well, the price thing…i always tell customers it’s a lot of money, but it’s not expensive…
You get more for each dollar when you buy a mac. All in all, the mac is cheaper

Wow. Seems that everyone is saying a Mac is better. Problems I have are usually some files missing, or clashes, or can’t startup properly, software open too slow, need to get one software to solve a problem created by another software etc.
After being on Vista (which I am now), I would say XP is heaven!
…but XP still sucks compared to OS X
PC’s are for real men..but you’re a girl as i just realized. So. PC’s are for sexy, independent-thinking women who don’t feel the need to conform. That’s a good enough reason.

well actually, pc’s are for boys, and mac’s are for men, boys like to spend a lot of time fixing a broken system, men simply wants something that works better and make more money to pay for a better product
