Do you think Quarantine will be better or worse than REC?

I have viewed the trailer for QUARANTINE, but am unfamiliar with REC, so I can’t comment, except to say that I would like to see it in october, when it is released.

May I please have more information, regarding “REC?”

REC is the original Spanish movie that they are re-making as “Quarantine.” It’s going to be a shot-for-shot re-make…

What do you think of horror film re-makes in general?
eg. Ringu – Ring, Chakushin ari – One Missed Call

I imagine that the re-make will probably be better than the original version, if for no other reason than the fact that the original version will be in English, as I am not as fluent as I would like to be, in Spanish.

I just watched the trailer, and the only thing they should be quarantining is the acting. It doesn’t look particularly good, and neither was REC in my opinion.

We need better horror. I haven’t been scared by a recent release in a long time.

The acting appears to resemble that found in The Blair Witch Project

In my previous post, I made an error when I wrote, “if for no other reason than the fact that the original version will be in English…” That should have been written as, “if for no other reason than the fact that the RE-MAKE will be in English.”
