Better get on it.
Only a few days left.
It is better to give than to receive.
Plus, it’s good for the economy! The more cash changes hands, the better it is for everybody!

I rounded up all the big stuff by end of November, and most of the medium stuff. Just need to get the stocking stuffers like gift cards and small gifts.
I’m in the same spot. Maybe that’s sort of standard?
90% there. Just gotta get some stocking stuffers and finish up wrapping. Probably two days worth of work.
Not even at all. I’d say I’m 3% there. I have high hopes for tomorrow.
I mean, it is, but anyone being extra nice or if I feel deserves more, then I’m ready to go again!
If tomorrow was Christmas, I’d be good to go. Still, I have a few additional gifts that I prefer to get before Christmas next Wednesday arrives. Most of these gifts aren’t life altering, but something that I want to do
@ucme
I’ll be available for last minute consideration
I don’t do Christmas shopping.
There’s still plenty of time.
@josie A pint, a game of pool & an arm wrestle…good?
No. I like a good Christmas freak out. Lol
The kids are done, we don’t do the adults anymore and couldn’t be happier.
As it turned out, mine was finished in June!!! My Mom taught me to have a Christmas drawer. I start buying next Christmas’s presents the day after this Christmas is over. When I see something that I think someone I care about would like, I buy it & place it in my hiding spot. As the year progresses, so does my Christmas drawer. Then when Christmas arrives & I check the contents of my Christmas drawer, I either have NO shopping left to do or possibly only need to buy 1 or 2 gifts that I managed to miss. This year I done good as I needed NONE!!!
@LadyMarissa
Excellent organizational and time management skills!
@josie I can’t take all the credit. I was trained by a very well organized Mom!!! It also means that I can save some money when I find things on sale all during the year…like the day after Christmas when ALL the stores here put everything on ½ price. I get some excellent deals!!! It also means that the recipients get better gifts when I find some really nice things at ½ price. :}
All good. You have Figured it out
I don’t do Christmas shopping. I’m free.
I will say that every year I run the idea of no gifts, no shopping by my family. Ya know, it should be about family and friends and spending time together and enjoying good food and appreciating what we have and maybe giving back a little…
And every year, they pause for a second, and say, “Nah! We love shopping and spending far too much money we shouldn’t.”
I wrapped my last one today
If I’m not seeing the person until after Christmas, I don’t stress about getting their gifts before Christmas.
I tend to be a last minute shopper and I may be buying gifts the day before I see the person. My work friends, I bought their gifts two days before I planned to exchange.
I really don’t need or want anything. If I do want something, I buy it for myself. I’m trying to reduce clutter and that’s one of my goals for the year. I asked a friend of mine last year if maybe she wanted to not exchange gifts with me. She said no, she loves opening the gifts I give her. That’s unfortunate, because I don’t need or want anything from her and I feel like it’s just an added stress to have to think about what to buy her.
My main thing is my twelve year old daughter. I know her friends are all going to be talking about what they got on Christmas day, so I have to make sure I have some good stuff for her.
