Could you have enjoyed a central character more in a version other than your favourite?
Who played Fagin best?
How about Oliver?
Or the Artful Dodger even?
Don’t reckon this will be an orphan! ;-}

I think there was an animated cat version.
So that one.
I love the Mark Lester, Ron Moody & Oliver Reed version.
Polanski’s. I own a copy.
@ragingloli The animated cat version had dogs also. It was Disney’s Oliver & Company. It came out right before Disney’s new era of making animated movies again Oliver and Company, and The Fox and the Hound, preceded The Little Mermaid and the new era of Disney movies in 1988/89
Any Dickens’ classics I prefer the oldest movies possible, like the 1930s, even if they aren’t the best rendition. They seem closer to the era portrayed.
