Is it ok to cook whole unsliced carrots in the oven?

Also a couple of whole potatoes? Im experimenting with carrots and potatoes. Also will cook with a half cooked chicken.

Yes it is. It just takes longer to cook whole vs sliced carrots & potatoes. Since I’ve never had the patience to cook them whole, I looked up Cooking Roasted Whole Carrots to give you somewhere to start.

@LadyMarissa I chopped the ends off of the carrots and sliced the potatoes in half. Put at 350*f.

Roasted carrots are fabulous. The oven adds a bit of savory to the sweetness.

Update Was good. Am full. Lots of carrots and potatoes in fridge for later.
