Were you tasked with altering human reproduction, by copying the mechanism of a species found in nature or fiction, which would you choose, and why?

Daffodils.

They can reproduce both sexually and asexually. I think it would be nice to be able to choose.

And it’s lovely how they bloom in the spring.
