There was one with Frank Sinatra (I think) that had a boat that reminded me of one we had for years.
Whenever I run into that movie I miss that boat. Then I think about all the upkeep and come to my senses
The other favorite boat is the African Queen.

Which of which films? ALL films with any boats and ships???

Yes? Wow…

How about just ones that conspicuously feature ships or boats?

Do spaceships count? Because I do like the original Star Wars… films. And Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986).,, and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982)... and Serenity (2005) and Silent Running (1972)

Ok, let’s see, actual boats and ships:

Captain Horatio Hornblower R.N. (1951)
Jaws (1975)
The African Queen is a boat.
Das Boot is about a about a U-boat, and ships…
From Russia with Love (1963) has a few boats
The Thief of Bagdad (1940) has some ships
Lord Jim (1965) has some ships
Midway (1976) mainly for the historical footage and interest in that battle
Master and Commander

I’ve enjoyed various other nautical films, including quite a few historical military ones.

I’m going to say Captain Horatio Hornblower R.N. (1951) is my favorite film with and largely featuring ships and boats.

Hunt for Red October – submarines

There was a movie made in the 1950s, I think. It took place in the 1870s or even earlier, about pirates and Spanish and british warships in the Caribbean. I don’t remember the title, but there were some big name actors – Errol Flynn, Paul Henreid, maybe.

Anyway, towards the end there is a long scene where the ships are shooting cannons at each other. Eventually the pirates win, the girl is rescued, and it ends.

I don’t remember the title, but it was a good flick.
