Uhh, going to a specific pharmacy in a different town to pick up meds for my cat.
(*This medication has to be specifically compounded and no pharmacy here in my town does that.)
Getting a car window replaced from the tornado.
Recovering from my son’s 16th birthday party and enjoying a day off from work. It’s a lazy day for me.
I’m thoroughly enjoying the tranquility of my day…I find that to be fun!!!
Its 6pm in the evening here & so my plans have already played out, for the most part anyway.
Work happened, just a couple of hours in late afternoon, quiet as far as call outs goes.
I ran 12 & a half miles this morning or 20k if you like.
As far as the next few hours, I’m pretty much free & open to suggestions.
Woooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Ugh.
Replacing my old R7 1700 with an R9 3900x.

It’s already 8pm. I’m going to do some clicker training with my dog now. Then probably write an awkward email I’ve been putting off. Maybe clean the bathroom while listening to my current audio book. And finally, read and have a snack in bed.
So yes, some low-key fun. Tomorrow I hope I’ll be spending time at a hospital, the cinema, the forest, and my grandma’s house. All fun in very different ways.
Baking bread (fun), paying bills and doing paperwork (not so fun), goofing with pup (very fun), reading and maybe watching a movie (pretty fun).
Getting my papers in order and unpacking from a depressing trip placing a good friend with no family into hospice. So sad.
Went to Honda dealer for oil change and maintenance, then went to Costco to get garbage bags and spent over 150 dollars (typical Costco trip) on stuff. Now am laying in bed wishing for something good on TV, and Fluthering and Facebooking. Tomorrow, back to work.
I wonder what the stats are on who is off work today (holiday in US). Stores are open. Government is typically not (except 24/7 people like cops, firemen, wastewater treatment plant and the like).
First day of second semester!
Laundry, TV, computer, and gaming, oh and eating too. Nothing too big hehe.
I was up at five a.m. to fly from San Francisco to NY, got to my hotel at six this evening. Now time for bed and early to work tomorrow.
@lucillelucillelucille It is a very sad situation. We were both the same age and were diagnosed around the same time. We both had surgery. I lucked out – my surgeon got it all, He didn’t and over the years has had recurrences and various treatments radiation, chemo, experimental,... to control the situation. It spread to his bones leaving him immobilized by pain. He is now back in the hospital, unconscious, with a DNR order in place.
@zenvelo When you head home look to your right. I’ll be waving!
@LuckyGuy I have a window seat on the north side of the plane flying back on Thursday. I will wave if we fly over upstate NY!
I am staying home again today because I’m not OK. I had a battery of tests done last week and one of them just about put me under. I still do not feel right. I’m better though. I’ve done some paperwork and written two letters that needed to be done.
