Which veggie peeler do I need?

I bought a really nice stainless steel julienne peeler. It works like a potato peeler except it has teeth that make nearly matchstick size cuts of assorted veggies of whatever length you choose.
It’s great. I’ll definitely be using this one, but I wanted a much finer shred. More like angel hair than matchsticks.
Which blade style is the right one? I can’t locate the right style on my own despite my best efforts.
I did find a blade that looks like a standard peeler blade except the surface on either lip of the blade has very small grooves. Is that the right one?
Thanks for your help!

Have you tried a regular potato peeler?
The idea is to use a device that exists for the specific purpose of making these fine carrot strings. It is like the one I have, the teeth simply are spaced to wide. I’ll call the manufacturer if no one has the answer.
@Tropical_Willie no, that’s not it, that is cool though. It’s not a spiralizer I need.
It’s a handheld device that looks like a peeler in every way, except it has teeth AND a blade.
The one I need has teeth closely set together about 3mm apart max.
@Dutchess_III I think you’re on to something.
It’ll involve using my santoku though. I was trying to make it happen without the extra step.
Good to see you @Ltryptophan.
A potato peeler would make some yummy fried taters!
I think you’re looking for a tool like this.
Here is a video of how it works.
Buy a decent chefs knife. Keep it sharp. And then (as the gaming elite love to say) get gud with it.
Also don’t cut your fingers off.
@longgone Nice, I’d like that, but no, not that one. Imagine uncooked angel hair pasta made of carrot.
The device that makes it has a handle, and a blade that sits perpendicular to the handle. It has teeth, and beneath the teeth one blade. The teeth must be set very close together, unlike the one I have where the teeth are maybe 4mm apart instead of 2mm.
These definitely exist by the way!
I see. If it’s 2mm strips you want, the cut you’re trying to achieve is called “fine julienne”. You should be able to ask for that in well-stocked stores. I also found one here.
@longgone, I think you found the only one in existence that’s readily for purchase.
However, it was costly to obtain! :D
Thanks for finding it!
Can’t wait til it arrives!
I’m glad! Let us know if it works out right in the end :]
