Question about toothpaste.
I’ve always, since I’ve started brushing, spit the toothpaste out, and rinsed after.
Only recently, since I’ve heard the benefits, I only spit out the excess, and don’t rinse (leaving the remaining paste on my teeth, letting it do its preventive work).
What do you do?

You forgot the N.
Well, I am drinking coffee half an hour later, so I do not want to have toothpaste taste in my intake.
I spit, rinse then hear this noise.
Every single time.
@ragingloli He deliberately left off the “N.”
Well, this got boring very fast! :-) I spit then rinse.
But do you rinse the sink after you spit? No one on TV does. Start noticing this. It drives me crazy.
I rinse.
I have just read the directions on two toothpaste containers.
Warnings are given about swallowing the toothpaste !
And if you don’t rinse guess wear those chemicals will go and affect. ( think throat cancer??)
I guess in olden days people just used Baking soda to brush the teeth.( natural)
A bit radical, don’t you think, @Inspired_2write?
Throat cancer from toothpaste.
@rebbel
from the chemicals.

What ingredient in toothpaste is bad for you?
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) are surfactants that are used in a range of products from industrial cleaners to toothpastes and their main purpose is to provide a foaming lather. The problem with SLS and SLES is that they may cause canker sores, mouth ulcers, stomach issues, and cancer.

Toxic Ingredients Commonly Found in Toothpaste – RADIUS
Toothpaste, is essentially poison.
Don’t swallow it…
I rinse. How anyone can stand the taste is beyond me. Gross.
@Patty I figured you for a swallower. ;)
I think this is now a NSFW question.
Nobody mentioned the wet spot.
You’re supposed to rinse. It’s not made to be ingested.
Let me get this straight. It’s the men, who are perverted?
@rebbel -I just had my teeth cleaned today and the hygienist said not to do that.
I would’ve asked for more detail but my mouth was full.
