How do you search your messages here?

I prefer everything on a thread since (you can’t?) search PMs.

@flo PM’s can get pretty personal, when you’re long term friends. Not sure how I’d go back years easily.

That’s what I meant. I would do it in email account for future. I guess you already thought so.

@flo Ohhhhh exchange email. I misunderstood. So there’s no way to go back six years quickly?

@KNOWITALL: I’m not sure if you’re in the FB group but we talked about Ibstubro’s death in the group, when it happened.

@jca2 I don’t think I was on there two years ago. I am now.

His account is still here. If you go to it, any public messages he got will be visible to you as well as the private PMs you and he exchanged.

I’m flummoxed that you were unaware of his death in view of the extent of your participation here. The list of tributes on his behalf ran interminably, and not only in Meta.

Go to his profile and click on message as if you are going to send him a message. Your message history will be there.

@flo Oh his profile is still up so I saw a few messages and read a few of his posts. But reading all of them between us, no.

@KNOWITALL Ah, I see now. I just played with it with a few Jellies I message with. It seems like all but recent messages are deleted. I remember being able to go back through months of messages in the past. It looks like they are gone.
