My husband has had diabetes for more than 20 years. What do you want to know?
Yep. I was diagnosed with Type 1 when I was 3. I’ve been on am insulin pump since I was 15. Were you diagnosed with Type1 or Type 2?
I don’t have it but my blood sugar is right on the cusp. It doesn’t run in my family but I understand that everyone can be at risk for Type 2 if they don’t eat properly. I could stand to lose a few pounds. I think that might help reduce the risk. I’ve always drank lots of water and urinated a lot. As a result my parents had me checked when I was a child. So far, so good, but it’s something that I always worry about a little bit.
