I have a storage problem. I have two laptops, and neither are ideal to process my work.
I had an assortment of short stories. One was eaten right before my eyes. One I can’t find where it got stashed within an assortment of flash drives.

I am trying to put together enough work so I can publish an assortment in one day. I need to rework the shorts, and rewrite the one which was eaten. That laptop has a skewed touchscreen. As I work, it takes sudden spells of erratically jumping the curser about, randomly initiating various functions. The time I lost an entire piece, it engaged the backspace, and would not respond to anything I tried to stop it. The entire story erased.

I have a completed fiction novel, two written on paper which leave off for a third. That trilogy could actually be worked further to be a series.

I am currently working an adventure fiction. Given the sorry state of my equipment, it is going quite slowly.

I have premise and outlines for about a dozen future novels. Even if I had ideal equipment, there is enough to keep me busy the rest of my life.
As it is, the rest of my life might be required to finish the piece I’m working currently.

And what about you?

Still working on finishing revision of my comic book script. Only a few pages left. So far already have 16 pages inked and colored.

So many story ideas for short films and full-length indie dream projects, not one actual script done. Oh wait, did finish one several years ago but can’t be produced with having only micro-budget resource. In my case, micro-budget is almost the same as zero-budget. Yeah.

Presently, have a new camera and working with much uncertainty next on being able to afford to assemble an editing suite. Still need to buy lenses, tripod and whatever basic gear that are must haves. In the meantime, starting and finishing any script that I could produce and shoot in realistic terms is ideal.

Have three written drafts of which two I am considering making into a script, but lack the

training to do that. I have books on how to write a script but realize the enormity of the

challenge as to me it was enough just to write the story but the scripting is the hardest.

Considered taking a script writing course ( Toronto, Canada) but read the terms and really do

not like the idea that MY script/story become there property to do as they please????

Might consider an online course for script writing? ( or buy software for this and do it myself).

Costly , so I have to budget for it .

Plus one story is true so have to look into the legal use of it ( change names, places etc or else be sued)?

There is a premise I would like to see someone fashion into an Xbox game, but I don’t know anyone with the skill for that.
OK, two actually, but one would require getting rights from a published author.

I have a few short stories that I started and never finished. I want to write some stuff for children, and illustrate them. I wonder when I’ll get a chance to focus on them and finish up.

@Nuggetmunch, sounds like a project I shelved. I don’t know how to post on yt. I thought it would be cool to write some stories for children, then read them and post to yt. Sort of a help for mommies who have some reason they sometimes can’t.
During a week long free read contest my daughter’s school district sponsored, a few years back I wrote some children’s shorts. I read them to the kids who were able to stay after school to participate for the contest.
The kids asked if they had pictures. I passed out paper I had gotten from their teacher, and pencils and crayons. I told them I was an awful artist, so instead, I thought they should draw their own pictures while I did the reading. It went over great. I can’t find those stories now. I think they let me keep the pictures, but I can’t find that either.
